How to keep your acrylic wet while painting outdoors.

Welcome to My Crazy Plein Air Adventures blog.

Beauty is where you find it. And sometimes it’s found by climbing over a few fences to get to an unusual subject.
That’s part of what makes outdoor painting (Plein Air) so interesting to me.
There are always new and interesting things to be discovered and painted.

NOTE:
1. As you can read in this post that I copy they talk about carrying tubs of paint. I like to use a 7 day pill box to place my paint in so I don’t have the weight in my paint bag.

2. As for a wet palette. I make my own. My Plein Air set up comes with its own mixing tray.

What I do is I line my tray with foil paper. Next I place about 3 to 4 sheets of paper towels on top of the foil paper.

I lightly wet the paper towels and I place 2 sheet of Parchment paper on top of the wet paper towels.

Note: I have try wax paper but over time it brakes down and tears unlike Parchment paper that holds up for long periods of a time.

3. I like to use Clear Gesso as my medium for it dose not does not destroy the integrity of my acrylic paint.

Until next time, my friends. Keep creating, and God bless.
