Beauty is where you find it. And sometimes it’s found by climbing over a few fences to get to an unusual subject.
That’s part of what makes outdoor painting (Plein Air) so interesting to me. There are always new and interesting things to be discovered and painted.

On Friday April 30, at 6 pm the Ellis County Art Association held their first Ellis County Plein Air Spring Art Show with reception and awards.
I went to the reception and it was so good to see old friends and meet new artist too.
All the art work is amazing and what a joy it is to see the different places that we all painted.
I am going to start making a list of all the places I want to go paint in Ellis County for next year.
