My Adventure Plein Air
Beauty is where you find it. And sometimes it’s found by climbing over a few fences to get to an unusual subject. That’s part of what makes outdoor painting (plein air) so interesting to me. There are always new and interesting things to be discovered and painted.

This last Thur I put in my time at the gallery but I was not feeling good due to my allergies that are still kicking my butt. (This year in North Texas allergies are at an all time high)
But I wanted to get one more painting before the Per-Paint Historic Waxahachie ends this on 4/30.
If you remember I said I wanted to start painting logos, houses and building. Will one of those logo’s is the Waxahachie lodge No. 80 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

I started the painting after I got off but had to cut it short so I could get home to cook dinner. (got home 15 mins before hubby ha, ha,ha).
The next morning I got up not wanting to go out due to allergies but I suck it up and took an allergy pill, dove back to the site and finish my painting. I just forgot to take a pic of the finish painting on my Pochade box.
But here is the final painting.
