Beauty is where you find it. And sometimes it’s found by climbing over a few fences to get to an unusual subject. That’s part of what makes outdoor painting (plein air) so interesting to me. There are always new and interesting things to be discovered and painted.

Howdy everyone, 

 Sorry I have not been on the site. I had been carrying for my mom until her death this past October.

Now I am pulling my self together and was planning on getting outdoors to paint again but the Antarctic wind came though with freezing raining and it was to cool for this California gal to get out in this Texas weather. Now the weather is warm, cold, cloudy, foggy, just crazy weather I am planning on getting outdoor soon to paint.

 

So for now this nutty weather we are having it has given me time to catch up on emails, write my newsletter, blogs, etc again. 

Here is one of those blogs I found on plein air. It is full of great info. Some of it I thing I am going to try like… 03# home-brew, 09# and 10# a home-brew that I am going to make.
